The Struggle To Create My Art Blog Journey

The struggle to create my art is real. 

As I was driving home less than 30 minutes ago this thought entered my mind and in the same moment I realized it is time to write about it because I have a feeling I am not the only one. And I’m hoping, wondering, wishing and praying that because of my writing something inside will shift. If the wiring in my brain shifts to “The Joy To Create My Art” that would be a huge miracle in my eyes.

I have wanted to create art for as long as I can remember. In my mind’s eye I see this precocious young girl who begged for art lessons. She jumped up and down with her hands in the air saying “I want art lessons. I want singing lessons. I want to go to ballet class. I want a piano and I want a guitar.”

Yup that young girl wanted it all and she is still very alive inside of me wanting more than I (grownup Wendy) has given her.

That is all I want to say today.

The grown up version of Wendy has a bunch of writing and art to do if she wants to launch the 2nd version of her Awaken The Artist series in a couple of weeks.

As a child it was practically impossible to create art.
