Do you sometimes wonder if there is a creative person living inside of you that is busting at the seams to emerge?

Do you find yourself thinking about your early childhood years when you knew exactly what you wanted to do but it still keeps you stuck today.

The truth is that you are already an artist. That is at the route of who you are … your divine gift.

Whether you desire to write, paint or create products to sell. You can do all of this and more.

And if you are not creating it just means that you are shut down in some way. Maybe someone …possibly a schoolmate or a teacher or worse yet, a parent discouraged you. Perhaps they told you that you had no talent and you believed them.

Perhaps you were told that you could not have what you wanted and all you can remember hearing is “We can’t afford it.”

Perhaps you were led to follow the money and that being an artist or creative person would mean that you would not be able to support yourself or starve in some way. So early in the course of your life you conveniently “forgot” what you were passionate about and instead believed the lie that you were told as the truth.

It is not your fault and this can be turned around much faster than you may realize. It is time for you to open yourself up to your creativity. I know you do not think you are creative but you really are. Creativity is involved in everything that we do  and it is just a matter of recognizing it and owning it because the more that we allow ourselves to do this the more we open up to it and the more we create what we like in the world.

And most importantly the more we create and appreciate what we create the happier we are no matter what is going on in our lives. Happiness is an inside job. It comes from within and we must be the ones to recognize it. It has always been inside of you and it is just about uncovering it and allowing it to shine. Let your light shine.

That is what creativity is all about … letting your light shine brilliantly for the world to see.

You may have always wanted to be creative but things in life happened and got in the way. You did not consciously plan these events to happen and it slowed you down in a way but now it is time to step aside from that part of your life and let all the glory in. Own who you are. You do not even have to understand what I am talking about. It is about trusting and listening and allowing yourself to do what you soul wants to do.

What is it that you have always wanted to do but were not able to because other life experiences kept you from doing these things. You may not even remember and once you do you will realize yes that is what I want to do. It will be fun and playful and filled with passion for you. Just because you have not been able to live in your passion up to now does not mean that you must do something else.

There is always time to do what you want. Whatever it is that took you off track is the exact thing that is going to get you back on the right track. Sink into yourself and let it be. Let you be who you are. You are who you are anyway. Allow yourself to live that “who you be” feeling. It is here for you now. Yes right now. Just step into it. It is really that simple.

Stepping into this core part of you is what connects you to all that you are. This strengthens the connection to everything else. When you connect to the artist in you are also opening the channel to connect to the creative person in you that knows how to solve all the challenges in your life in a creative way.

Art is about everything. You are here to be the ultimate artist of your life. Forming and shaping your life using the tools of the universe…the medium of the universe to bring your ideas to fruition. When you apply what you know about creating to everything you do you are connecting to your genius. Yes you are brilliant in every way imaginable and it is all about you seeing that.

Owning it and living it in every moment that you choose. That is what this time in history is all about and it is here for you any time that you choose it. Allow yourself to experience this bliss…This freedom of being who you are. You have the free will to choose anything you want. You can take any action that you choose to and you can paint your world from the blank canvas you are given in each and every moment. You can change your world and your circumstance with the stroke of a brush on your canvas. Paint in Multi-color, black and white or only one color. It is your choice. You have the universe at your fingertips and if you have a desire for something then there is a reason for it. All of your desires are divine. And if you take action on your divine desires you have everything you require to bring it to fruition.

So if you have always wanted to do art, to paint, sculpt or create pottery then do it. You must do it. If you have visions deep inside of you then bring them out! There is a way to open to your creativity in such a way that you are in touch with a deeper part of yourself. You will experience a transformation that will enable you to actually transfer the creative aspects of this project to other part of your life.

Life tends to get in the way of us stepping into our creativity yet the more we can step into our creativity the more we run our life

When we are not creative we just let life happen so in a way life runs us. When we step into our creativity the more we run out life.

PAIN

A child comes into this world pure in every way and knows what it wants and has no problem asking. When the answer is “no” enough the child stops asking and eventually stops desiring.

The sadness never goes away though. Instead it gets stuffed deep inside and lays dormant and buried and can last an entire lifetime.

But the inner child is always wishing and praying to be heard and throughout life knocks on the door of the adult mind saying “Me! Me! I want to play! I know what you want! I have all the answers! You’ll like them! I promise!”

The adult hears the knock, considers it and most often discounts it and does not take action. Or the adult opens the door and lets the child in for a bit and then realizes it must get “serious” and throws the child out again and closes the door.

The adult does not believe that they could actually enjoy this in their life on a regular and permanent basis so again the door closes … almost all the way. He adult gets a taste of the “play” and tries to figure out how it can work and does not know how to expand back to the childhood wonder and curiosity but secretly wants to.

The knock becomes progressively difficult to ignore when life has become burdensome and not working. The adult is doing everything it can to make things work while sadness seeps out via life’s experiences and eventually the adult cannot ignore it any longer and it must make a choice.

Ultimately it is a sad journey for the adult because they are ignoring everything that could add passion and joy back to their life.
