Yahmit Posture Technique™

The name “YAHMIT” was an inspiration upon awakening one morning after “asking” for a name. It translates to “Connecting to Divine.” Substitute Nature, Universe, God or the word you use to reference the Higher Power existing in and around us.

How and Why the Yahmit Posture Technique™ was Created

The initial inspiration that led me down the path to create the Yahmit Posture Technique™ began August 1987 at a Tony Robbins weekend where my life instantly changed. Tony dramatically demonstrated the relationship between our emotions and body’s physiology.

At the time it was mysterious and “woo woo” yet mesmerized me so deeply I put it in the back of my mind. As the years passed I connected to that experience often and intuitively knew it was the basis of a future endeavor.

In May of 1991 I was given the opportunity to begin my 17 year career in the ergonomic industry where I helped my clients connect to their bodies and let go of physical and emotional pain so that they could be productive. This gave me first-hand experience with the knowledge I gained from Tony Robbins and continually reinforced my intuition to follow this concept and see where it would lead.

As my “prized” million dollar consulting contract began crumbling in 2004 it surfaced immense fear and I knew there was a new role for me in the business world. A concept of a “body technique” began to emerge that felt so “out there” and even though I had a difficult time grasping and describing it my focus expanded.

I was then inspired to develop, practice and refine this technique which always helped me feel better and allowed me to focus and get through my work day.

The regular spiritual practice over 1-1/2 years brought me to an inner calm and trust which led me to completely surrender. I felt the HUG of the universe and instantly had the confidence to let go of the business that had been my identity. I knew the Universe had my back!

After initially choosing to close my business I was then surprisingly, inspired to sell my business even after being told it was not worth anything. The sale was complete in 90 days and I began a new chapter which led me to own the artist inside of myself and gain many new insights.
